Poor customer service who all say different things
Went to collect order (3rd july) from local store and one item missing. Person in store called customer services was told it might be on its way...we don't know how long it may take up to you if you wait or not? Emailed customer service who said waiting to hear if courier has lost it or not and will take 7 days but item is now out of stock (even though showed in stock on website). Hear nothing again. Spoke to live chat who said it was now on its way to store but I'd not had it any notification of this but will be emailed when it arrives. Then nothing again - so contacted customer services again who provided no apology or explanation just refunded one cushion so now have an odd number of cushions?
What kind of service is this ? First and last time I order from Next.

I visited the hull store on the 20th of…
I visited the hull store on the 20th of July 2022 to pick my parcels up. There was one lady waiting I put my number in to the machine sat down and waited for my parcel to come through by this time there was five more people putting there numbers in the machine and waiting. I had already been there twenty minutes before these people arrived. They started bringing these other peoples parcels out and I am still waiting this is a regular pattern for me I am realy angry about it. These five people got there parcels as usual I am still sat there, when the young girl came out I explained to her she did not apologise and said they have come out in order I said well they have not because myn should of been first she was not bothered still no apology by this time two more had put there number in waiting and yet again they got there parcel and went the young girl came out I said I have just sat here yet again watching people get there parcels what have just walked in all I got is they go in order miserable face no apology. Then she came back out and said what is your postcode in an abrupt voice, they expect you to just sit there and say nothing. On recent visits I have spoke to other customers what have had the same experience. This system has been in long enough now to know what they are doing, it does put me off shopping with next. They use to be so particular and very good customer service. But now I feel it is going down hill.

I have never had a problem with next
I have never had a problem with next. After 2yr of ordering from them not one thing I can fult them with. Everything I have ordered over there years I have not been upset with. Very happy with the quality definitely will keep ordering from them. Thank u Next ??

It’s a shame so many people recently seem to have had a bad experience.. because clearly Next is still very much capable of a good service with no hassle .. I’ve just opened an account … all deliveries turned up on time and no issue with them at all

I went to collect my online order in…
I went to collect my online order in store and after inserting my order number I waited for someone to bring it to me. Other people came in to collect orders and were handed their parcels. After half an hour I asked a sales assistant where my order is only to be told it was collected fifteen minutes earlier! Impossible as I was in the store and wasn’t given anything! Obviously my parcel was given to someone else. After one and a half hours and calls to customer services nothing was resolved. The store manager eventually passed a credit to my account for my order and said I can reorder. I couldn’t reorder as the item was now sold out! I ordered another item and went a few days later to collect it only for the same thing to happen again but this time I was told the item was lost and they will find it and get hold of me when it’s ready. I am still waiting almost a week later! I have paid for something I didn’t ever receive but my account stated it went to the store. I emailed customer services but have had no response. Next is atrocious! What happened to customer service??

Next parcels lost again by Evri - no surprises eh!
I ordered in the sale and Next stupidly put everthing in one parcel. They use Evri who have now lost my 32 items I ordered again! 32 items which were all Branded items. How can anyone lose such a big parcel with trainers in it too?

It has probably been stolen by someone at the depot or dumped somewhere. It is probably at the auction place in Birmingham for failed deliveries which are then auctioned off.

I was told the truck broke down or driver was ill. There has been no update and Next staff are patronising and useless. I get text saying parcel arriving then conflicting information via emails. Their left hand doesn’t know what right one is doing.

They’ve lost 3 Next parcels in the last week alone. Those weren’t sale items either! Next staff are utterly useless and there are only a few decent ones who know what they’re doing including the senior CS team. Ahmed was good at rectifying Ryan mistake who didn’t read the notes (maybe they didn’t make notes!) He was great as was Charlotte in the senior CS team.

If you really need something buy from Selfridges even if you have to pay more for your items. DPD delivery is £10 for annual subscription. Next have gone badly down hill. I’ve been a customer since early 1990’s.

Evri mistake Evri time is a travesty.

Really don't know how to rate Next adequately.

There staff are super helpful, and I really can't fault them. They try to do everything within their power to make your shopping experience excellent. Issues are dealt with quickly. They are honest about what they can and can't do. I also feel that the advisors, when hit with a can't do, really do want to help and the system they follow just doesn't allow it. So Next really hits 5/5

Now the issue. Next use a courier called Evri, and no end of problems. In my latest issue Evri has reported a problem finding my address and ask me to get in contact. This, as I have found out, is actually impossible. I instead contacted Next who in turn contacted Evri. Evri didn't action their instructions to redeliver the parcel. Instead they "pretended" to attempt delivery and then said they would return my parcel. This was attempt 2 out of 3. Again no way to get hold of Evri. Next themselves have been most apologetic. The girl I spoke to really did sound sorry and disappointed. Next are attempted to get messages through to Evri, but I don't hold out much hope. Delivery service 0/5

Previous issues (all around delivery) include Items missing from deliveries, deliveries constantly left safe despite instructions not to leave unattended (especially in someones elses recycling on a main thoroughfare). The fact they never ring the doorbell....

So basically Next is a fantastic company let down by their delivery partner Evri. If Next can fix this they will be 5/5 all the way.

Next use Evri to deliver and as usual Evri f**** it up.
Ordered 3x ties to come via next day delivery. Huge disappointment instantly when I received an email saying Evri (Hermes) would be delivering. Low and behold after working hours (shops close) on the day of delivery I get an email saying my parcel is delayed but the tracking doesn't even work.

Now going to have to run around at 8am before my event tomorrow for the right tie.. Utterly useless.

Extremely disappointed
Ordered 37 items in sale. 9 arrived although tickets for all 37 items was in the bag. Customer services stated that the other items would not arrive and I would be refunded. What a shambles. In this day and age u would think this would be a smooth operation but I guess customer service is not what it should be ?

Over all i dont have a problem with Next, My problem is the Aop, i have to try about 6 times to connect, ive dissabled an re loaded it twice an still the same, at first i thought it was my sigbal but clicked on another Apo a. Loaded straight away ... so annoying

Next don’t always get it right but they…
Next don’t always get it right but they do fix things which makes such a difference. Was so frustrated I was just about to put something new in the bin that just wasn’t working properly. I had thrown away all the packaging in my excitement to try the gadget out. A quick phone call and it can return as faulty. Such nice customer service too. No doubt I will spend even more in Next thanks to their attitude unlike another large store who really messed me about and then thought they could just buy me off with a £10 gift voucher ??? No thanks, my business goes to stores like Next who say sorry like they mean it and not just try to get rid of you and off the phone with a £10 voucher. Most times it’s not about the problem but the way the company handle and resolve the issue.

What on earth has happened to Next
What on earth has happened to Next. Purchased something at zero value, then get billed for half of it, yet no idea when it will be delivered. The other items I ordered have just vanished into thin air, which actually match the other items. Absolutely bizarre. Next used to be so reliable. I won't be returning. Total waste of time & energy.

Really sorry about this but I am now an EX NEXT customer. Having bought mens briefs, socks and T shorts for many decades that has to stop. I recently ordered a pack of mens briefs and the amount of pointless plastic packaging was excessive, I mean absolutely ridiculous. I emailed their customer services to ask if I could return the excess packaging to them to dispose of, and they did not even have the courtesy to reply. I have now checked the market and found more than one alternative supplier who do not use plastic packaging, so it is buy buy to NEXT.
